coverage: Mabuhay Germany 2011 event and booths @ Bonifacio High Street (opens Oct 7-9)

 

 

Last night was the opening and launch event of the Mabuhay Germany 2011, on its 4th year in celebrating the Mabuhay German that carries the theme "Winning Moments", celebrating the victorious events between Philippines and German for its 140 years of trade partnership. Mabuhay Germany 2011 is like bringing all kinds of items, food, culture, participated by 35 German companies at the grounds of Bonifacio High Street in BGC, Taguig City. The booths, exhibits, resto tents and attractions are open for the public this Oct. 7-9, 2011. (more below)

coverage: LG 3D Digital Night @ Serendra Social Hall

LG 3D Digital Night party last night is so fun and I didn't expected that we're going to to play some games all night and watch 3D movies on a big LG Cinema 3D TV plugged to a 3D Blu Ray Home Theater System. I can see the difference how awesome are the flicker-free 3D images on a LG 3D TV vs. a conventional 3D TV that still uses batteries for their 3D Glasses, they say that LG Cinema 3D TV is the world's first flicker free 3D tv and was certified by the European quality assurance agencies TÜV and Intertek.

I have seen also here the LG Optimus 3D phone, their 1st 3D phone that needs no glasses and running in a dual core processor. We played some games on a Xbox with Kinect, games like the River Rush Adventure Game, Nassau Racing and that fps shooter game. Photo above is me doing a slow mo jump-a-thon while playing the River Rush game, its my 1st time to play on a Kinect so just forgive me on how innocent I look last night hahaha.

New comics arrived in front of my door

New comics arrived yesterday and I'm happy that I have new comic titles to read on and I'm still stuck on the world of DC's new universe or reboot. I haven't grabbed the latest Spider-man comics and not ready yet to read X-men as of now, I heard that there are some serious wabuububub happening in the mutant world. But I have to stay for the DCnU for awhile and enjoy reading Batman, Flash and Superman comics. Thanks to Comicxhub for processing my order and delivering this to my home. I paid my comics via Paypal for the 1st time.. yay!

Toy Museums in the Philippines and in other countries

I remember that I started building my own toy museum inside my room at home, that was around my high school to early college years, I also started in creating my own library and bought those books about astronomy and zoology,  but I failed after being hooked to video games, toys and comic books, having a toy museum is a dream come true for everyone who loves toys and pop culture items on display, and its an apple in our eyes every day when we woke up in the morning and look at our collection and sometimes it takes out our stress and let these plastic and metal figures absorb those bad auras.

Film scanners of Cdrking

 
I discovered this new gadget via a plurk post by yoshidragon that she bought this film scanner in Cdrking and after I read that post, I went immediately to Cdrking’s official website and found the film scanner priced at around 1.8k and 2.8k. I don’t know if this gadget are available in some branches, but I’m sure main stores and big branches carry this item today, I’m excited and want to go to the mall today to purchase and try one. I love to scan and digitize those old films.
