Kaspersky Lab 2016 edition–Upgraded protection for your home computer VS virus, spywares, cyber peeping toms and data thief

Kaspersky Lab just released their 2016 edition of Kaspersky Anti-Virus software here in the Philippines, they also want to educate the Filipinos to safe guard their computers against viruses, spywares, data thief and even hackers who can take control of the laptop’s webcam.
They introduces three kinds of products for their 2016 edition.
Kaspersky Internet Security (KIS)
Kaspersky Anti-Virus (KAV)
Kaspersky Internet Security – Multi-Device (KIS-MD)

The new three software are now upgraded…a much better version because it has features to make sure your laptop or computer are not compromised by data thief, hackers and viruses.

According to Kaspersky Lab’s Consumer IT Security Risks Survey 2015, there’s a large growth of users that are now concerned about these computer problems. Maybe because data theft and computer lock down are experienced more during this age of social media.

Viruses are evolving into a much scarier trojan virus, these computer program pest are the culprit in staying in our computer, they reside their to steal and send information back to its virus programmer. The info stolen can be used for identity theft, cyber crimes and stealing bank accounts.

Quoting their study --- “70% of users are concerned that someone could gain access to their personal files, 61% worry that there may be programs on their devices collecting information about them, and 49% do not trust their own webcams – the cameras are known to be frequently used to spy on device owners.”

In the 2016 edition of Kaspersky, they’ve added these new features -- Private Browsing, Change Control, Privacy Cleaner and Webcam protection.

Private Browsing - it blocks the cookies and scripts that was downloaded by our computer. These scripts are saved automatically to monitor the user's behavior to target them the right data, advertisement and also what sites they visit.

Change Control - is a new feature that prevents third party software that are installed together with a software that was downloaded online. These third party software are installed silently into the computer with the user's knowledge. Kaspersky can detect these software in changing the browsers or adding some additional software and Kaspersky can inform the user that a program is changing the computer's settings.

Privacy Cleaner and Webcam Protection - the new feature helps remove all traces of user activity from a Windows computer, including the browser history, the list of the latest documents opened.
The Webcam Protection feature prevents the interception of images from the webcam, notifies users when it is accessed by legitimate applications and gives the opportunity to block all access to the camera.
